It is estimated that the unemployment rate of persons with disabilities in South Africa is in excess of 90% in cities, approaching 100% in rural areas. The ability to work and the opportunity to study are paramount in our Members being able to live their lives to their full potential!

The Work Readiness Program

Are you a wheelchair user who wants to get back to work? The Work Readiness Program, empowered by QASA, is designed to close the gap to employment for people with mobility impairment in South Africa. The program, facilitated online, is an accredited training program consisting of 17 modules (including Microsoft Office) which will equip trainees with the necessary skills and tools for employment. 


QASA Education Fund

Are you a wheelchair user who wants to study or develop skills to make you more employable? 
The Education Fund enables people with mobility impairments who reside in the Western Cape the opportunity to apply for funding to access accredited educational programs or skills training.
