QAWC, empowered by QASA, coordinates the Rural Development Project which seeks to improve the accessibility of member’s homes in rural areas.Funding is available for individuals living with mobility impairments to improve the accessibility to their home which facilitates independent living and improves quality of life.
Members can apply for ramps, accessible bathrooms, uplifts and more. This support is subject to funds available.
